What is a condom?

Typically, a condom is a latex rubber sleeve you slip onto your penis to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases and to reduce the risk of pregnancy in your female partner. STIs can be spread through skin-to-skin contact, including via vaginal, oral and anal sex. A condom is a fantastic way to avoid this whilst still enjoying amazing, pleasurable and fun sex.

How long does an unopened condom last?

There is nothing worse than getting into the action with your partner and reaching into your bedside drawer and finding a tattered, worn condom that you’re not sure how it got there! If stored properly, condoms usually last up to five years. To be sure though, always have a fresh box on hand.

Why condoms are SUPER IMPORTANT!

Guys come on, surely by now, you realise how important it is to slip a condom on before having sex with your partner! The outdated rhetoric that they ‘spoil the mood’ or reduce the pleasure or feeling you have is false! Condoms are designed to keep both you and your partner safe and with all of the different designs out there, you are sure to find one that feels amazing, fits right and is perfect! Remember that also, condoms are the only birth control method that prevents the transmission of STIs. Choose a type and style that you know will feel right, considering their size and design.
